Education & Learning
Given a focus of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) on girls’ education, why do gender inequalities persist in outcomes at all education levels? This theme explores factors contributing to these gender gaps and the policy interventions to address them such as teacher education and school management, curriculum and textbook reform, and informal education including life skills and literacy.
