BRIDGE Bibliography 16: Key francophone resources on gender: an annotated bibliography

Author: Paola Brambilla (ed)
Publisher:
Publication Date: Jan 2006
This paper presents twenty recent writings in French which provide a variety of gender specific information. They come from feminist, academic and activist sources and are categorised into three main groups: resources from Northern-based organisations, resources from Southern-based organisations, and resources from global networks. All resources are listed in alphabetical order in each of the sections. Most resources are available online, but where they are unavailable online details of how to order them in print are provided. If you would like to recommend further French gender materials to be added to the online version of this report, please e-mail p.brambilla@ids.ac.uk with a short summary of the material in French and/or English. These initial twenty materials have been selected and summarised by various members of the francophone network Genre en Action, under the overall supervision of Claudy Vouhé. Claudy Vouhé has worked on gender mainstreaming issues since the early 1990s. She is an activist, a consultant/trainer and co-founder of Genre en Action (www.genreenaction.net).
